Jin-Woo Prensena is a professional fine art photographer specializing in large-scale limited-edition prints. Prensena is well-known for his daring aerial photography; stopping at nothing to capture the most breathtaking beaches and landscapes around the world. He has produced work soaring 7,500 feet above Downtown Los Angeles, flying over the remote riverbeds of the Icelandic Highlands, and suspended above the famous Faraglioni rocks of Capri.

His tactics are matched only by his attention to detail, quality and precision. Evoking emotion and transporting your senses, Prensena’s meditative works are produced using the most innovative camera technology to achieve exceptional detail and vivid color that will immerse you in the awe-inspiring international locales, from the sun-drenched beaches of Cape Town, South Africa to the frigid backcountry of Whistler, Canada.

Raised in Germany and of South Korean descent, Prensena has been living and working in Los Angeles for the last 25 years. Previously a top Hollywood handler, the artist began taking pictures while on location around the world and turned his passion for photography into his occupation.

Prensena’s work has been featured on the cover of National Geographic Traveler and across Architectural Digest, CNN Travel, Saatchi Art and The Wall Street Journal. He has been featured on television and online segments for Fox, CNN, Discovery Channel and many more international outlets. Prensena’s coveted prints take pride of place in some of the most luxurious homes in the world. His celebrity clientele includes Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Max Greenfield, Chelsea Handler, Michael Kelly, Patton Oswalt, Lauren Sanchez, Marcus Scribner, Molly Sims, Ben Stiller and Daniel Tosh. His work is featured in the headquarters of various corporate clients, including Laura Wasser and Melanie Mandles, Irell and Manella, the Saban Capital Group and the Los Angeles Rams Center, as well as the offices of HCC Tokio Marine, Meche Salon, Anita Ko Jewelry, The A List and Rise Management. His solo exhibitions have included ELEMENTS at the luxurious 45 Park Lane hotel in Mayfair, London. His latest show, REFLECTIONS, is now on view at The Beverly Hills Hotel.

In his rare downtime, Prensena is involved in capturing historic launches in space travel with one of the nation’s top private aerospace companies. Prensena resides in Los Angeles with his wife, celebrity makeup artist Monika Blunder, with whom he has two beautiful children. Prensena’s keen eye for the arts is imprinted in his daughter, Valentina, who is currently studying fashion and design at Parsons in New York City, while his passion for fitness and adventure is shared by his son, Gabriel, who (like Prensena) is dedicated to CrossFit and competitive sports.

His tactics are matched only by his attention to detail, quality and precision. He prides himself on using the most innovative camera technology. Currently, he employs a Phase One IQ4 150MP camera system which produces exceptional detail and vivid color that will evoke emotion and transport your senses, from the sun-drenched beaches of Cape Town, South Africa to the frigid backcountry of Whistler, Canada.
